Eagles to play friendly this week after weekend thrashing
The Eagles’ coach will hope to use the friendly to rebuild confidence after they were thrashed once again over the weekend.
Crystal Palace will play a game this week they should win.
The Eagles, without a victory or goal this season, face a daunting trip to Old Trafford on Saturday.
But before that, they will play National League side Bromley in a behind-closed-doors friendly in a desperate attempt to rebuild shattered confidence, reports the Mirror.
New boss Roy Hodgson will use the game to try and work on his tactics and formation ahead of taking on Manchester United.
But they will be desperate for some much-needed cheer after their shocking run which is the worst ever start in the Premier League era.
Roy Hodgson fears it is going to get worse for Crystal Palace before it gets better
They were thumped 5-0 at Manchester City on Saturday, go to Old Trafford next and then face defending champions Chelsea which could leave them without any wins from their first eight games.
Hodgson, who did oversee a win in the League Cup against Huddersfield, was brought in after Frank De Boer was sacked after just four games.
The former England boss is renowned for working on his team shape and making his team hard to beat so will be desperate to rebuild confidence against Bromley.
